WORLD OF GNOMES NOW

it started when i was five. I lost my virginity to my parents garden gnome. my mum was livid but i don’t see the issue here. do i need help? i honestly don’t see the problem. It’s not that I’ve hurt anyone but I’ve gotten a few infections before. What if the gnome has herpes??

No, my friend has been sexually attracted to gnomes for years, and she does quite the special stuff with Herbert (her gnome-boyfriend’s name) every Saturday, she tells me. It’s perfectly normal.

So I saw the movie "Gnomeo & Juliet" and now everytime I see a gnome in somebody’s yard I get freaked out that they’re gonna come to life at night and kill small animals and harvest their organs for gold from wood nymphs. How can I overcome this fear????? Thank you so much.

Did they serve a purpose at one time or has it always been ornamental? Even as a decoration does it represent anything or is it just a because they look funny?

The classic garden gnome has been around since the 17 Century. They originated in Germany in 1840, where they were known as "der gartzenwerg". The first recorded residence of a garden gnome was at the estate of Sir Charles Isham, first Baronet of Lamport Hall.
Garden Gnomes then they were guardians that brought good luck to the house and garden. they gained popularity in 1872 but in the first world war the factories were taken over for military purposes. It wasn’t until 1960 that cheaper easier to mass produce gnomes went on the market and became popular again.
The face of the jolly modern gnome is supposed to represent Reinhard Griebel, the potter who produced the gnomes.
